Foxgloves in the morning sun
This is another painting I completed at Smallhythe Studio during the South East Open Studios 2015.
Having enjoyed painting the jug of Sweet Williams the week before, I decided to have another go at an en plein air still life. I cut some foxgloves from my garden and took them along as my subject matter.
The day was sunny and bright casting a wonderful shadow of the foxgloves on the table.
